What is Aegis Defense?
Aegis Defense prioritizes proactive threat intelligence analysis regarding executive protection. This is done through, primarily, open-source intelligence analysis to identify potential threats to clients. Aegis Defense employs only the most highly-trained and qualified intelligence and security professionals.
Who is Aegis Defense?
Aegis Defense was started by Vinny Romano and Ric Romero. Vinny is a former Indiana Army National Guard All-source Intelligence Analyst. Vinny had one deployment to the Sinai Peninsula during his military career. After deployment he came home and briefly worked on an intelligence contract for an agency near Washington, DC that primarily focused on counterterrorism. Vinny’s entire professional career has been spent conducting intelligence analysis under a variety of disciplines within the intelligence spectrum.
Ric has spent a majority of his professional career conducting security operations for numerous prestigious establishments around Indianapolis. He is well-known by much of the security personnel within Indianapolis. Ric currently resides as the Head of Security for Burn Indy providing security for many high-level celebrities. He also spent time conducting security operations for numerous concert venues within Indianapolis.
Why did Aegis Defense come to exist?
Vinny always wanted to start his own intelligence company, but he didn’t want to start an intelligence contracting company. After recent events within the US he finally settled on executive protection intelligence.
Ric has always wanted to start his own security company as well but wasn’t sure how to brand it. Ric and Vinny started talking and found the perfect mesh of the two and decided to start a company that not only provides highly experienced security, but also the much needed intelligence.
